Bank to have Open House and Tour during Creek Days 2008

Visit your Historic Bank. First State Bank will hold an open house on Saturday, June 21st from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm to offer the public a chance to see  renovations in the bank and Adams Ranch section of the building. During the tour people will walk through some of Odebolt's history, learn about the building's 1915 construction and see the detailed craftsmanship in the mahogany woodwork and bank lobby ceiling.

Odebolt Bank Sale Finalized--Wayne Nielsen, President of First State Bank of Ida Grove, announced on February 7 (2008) that the sale of the Odebolt State Bank to First State Bank of Ida Grove has been finalized.

Norm Behrens is the location manager at the First State Bank located in Odebolt. He invites all customers of the former Odebolt State Bank to stop in to get acquainted with the bank staff at Odebolt. Behrens is looking forward to First State Bank becoming a vibrant part of the Odebolt area and surrounding communities.
