City-wide clean up day set for May 29
The City of Odebolt has scheduled its city-wide clean up day for Thursday, May 29, 2025, the normal garbage collection day for Odebolt residents. Anyone wishing to participate in curbside clean up day (with anything other than the regular (2) 33-gallon garbage bags of garbage) must complete an application and return it to City Hall with the $25 fee (per household) no later than Noon on Thursday, May 22.

Additional rules:

All items must be placed at the curb no later than 7 a.m. on Thursday, May 29, and not before Tuesday, May 27.

Items must be placed at the curb in boxes or bags and sorted into two piles: (1) metal, (2) wood and general rubbish.
- Construction and remodeling debris will not be accepted. Residents with construction and remodeling debris must make arrangements to dispose of privately.

Items NOT accepted curbside: Tires, Brush, Paint, and Hazardous Chemicals.

Rudd Sanitation will only pass each residence once! Rudd will not return to a house for late or multiple pick-ups.

Rudd will not pick up items from anyone who has not applied, paid their fee and has their items in boxes or bags.

Residents are not allowed to go through anyone else's belongings on the curb.

Items remaining after clean up day will be treated as a nuisance.

Appliances, TVs, Computer Monitors, Microwaves, Tires, etc. may be disposed for additional fees at the City Maintenance Shed at 401 Market St. (Hwy 175 West) from Noon to 6 p.m. on Friday, May 30.
